Google announced the release of the latest version of its Chrome browser; Version 3.0 on the first anniversary of the product which launched to much fanfare in 2008.

Google has announced a few minor additions with this release, one of which are much-anticipated extra themes users can use. See Google's release by clicking here.

My early testing does indicate that Google Chrome V3 is faster; and for the fastest browser out of the lot to get even faster, that is a significant achievement.

Google really has set the 'speed' bar when it comes to browsers.
